Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM), is a private company operating within the materials sector focusing on specialty chemicals. An exciting opportunity is available for Process Safety Engineer Based in Yanbu and will report directly toManager, ISDAbout the role:Process Safety Engineer will provide technical Safety support to ATTM facilities. The support is mainly focus on the following: risk assessments, process safety issues, incident investigation, statistical analysis, safety audits, safety related training, technology evaluation, behavioral safety, process safety system and publications. In addition to a broad-based understanding of the complex interaction of chemical process technology, mechanical integrity and process design, process control, and Process Safety Management Systems (PSMS). You will be responsible to:

• Support the develop and implementation of process safety management system and spread the PSMS culture within plant staff.
• Survey the site through the facts or based on the data and analyses root causes for any technical issues and propose possible solutions with justifications.
• Support related teams to implement Mechanical integrity best practices.
• Design concept and requirements of the solutions
• Facilitate the action plans coordinated with relevant sections
• Study a feasibility of project or of action plans by computing the cost and the benefits
• Survey best practices and the latest technology information in the fields
• Address insurance audit and process safety findings and recommendations
• Prepare and review standard operation procedures
• Join the project team if required
• Communicate regarding technical issues with engineers of mother plant, Toho Titanium in Japan
• Communicate regarding technical issues with engineers of TiCL4 source, Tronox Yanbu Plant.
• Participate in the sites Management of Change (MOC) process and audit MOCs for completion.
• Participate in prestart up safety reviews (PSSR) and implement in various process safety programs.
• Define PHA (process hazard analysis) on any raised MOCs

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of experience in process safety management

• Knowledge of all three areas of the Sponge production process. Managing and Improving Business Processes
• Familiarity with Titanium Sponge or metallurgy manufacturing is preferred.
