SummaryEssential Responsibilities and Duties2. Operates, maintains and troubleshoots switch gears and automatic switch gears.3. Installs and connects electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications.4. Installs electrical circuit feeders, branches, wire -ways, associated devices and equipment in compliance with approved electrical codes. Performs grounding, insulation and other tests.5. Receives work requests for the required repair, maintenance and installation Evaluates work requests and prepares work schedule. Estimates the amount of materials required for the requisitions and orders/requests the necessary materials.6. Coordinates with affected users and related maintenance sections for scheduled shutdown of electrical systems and equipment.7. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on electrical equipment such as panel boards, street lightings, light control systems, electrical distribution systems, UPS systems, switchgears, automatic transfer switches, motor controllers, grounding systems, NC control system and other related electrical systems.8. Reads and implements various electrical diagrams and manuals.9. Assists and guides new personnel and subordinates.11. Position may require rotation on various shifts to maintain 24 -hours coverage.12. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.13. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.14. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.EducationORTechnical Diploma in related field is required.Experience RequiredORThree (3) years of experience with Technical Diploma.Other Requirements(Certificates)
