Job Description

Diagnostic Imaging TechnologistBasic FunctionPerform various diagnostic X-ray procedures in Dhahran and the Districts. Also responsible of performing various routine, trauma and bedside radiographic procedures, and contribute in the daily operation of the EMS, General X-rays, and Fluoroscopy as needed.ScopeThe work will be in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Radiology Imaging Department. The work assignment will be in Dhahran or Al Hasa/UDH, based on the operational need. The working hours will be mandated to meet the operational needs as directed by the Radiology Management. Principal ContactsInteraction will be on a daily basis with all Radiology or other technical staff and management as needed. Periodic Interaction with other services in JHAH or/and the other services key personnel may also be required.Principal Duties

  • Performs exams according to routine protocols
  • Performs independently all the routine exams
  • Performs with minimal supervision advanced X-ray exams, including all OR and Fluoroscopy needed procedure
  • Keeps up to date with advances in radiology procedures and equipment.
  • Supervise and train junior technologist
  • Is capable of adjusting the current standards of procedures in order to obtain better image quality and increase quantity in the workflow
  • Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety
EducationBachelors degree in Radiologic Science is required.ExperienceMinimum 4 years clinical experienceCertifications/Other requirements as applicable
  • Eligibility to acquire and maintain a current Saudi Commission of Health Specialties license
