Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Destination & Marketing Director to join our hospitality sector team.The ideal candidate will Lead our Destination (Mall, Convention Center, marketing, and facility management.) strategic planning, marketing, and facility management efforts. The Destination Director will play a crucial role in driving growth, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring the smooth operation of our premier shopping and entertainment destination.Requirements:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Destination (Mall, Convention Centre, marketing, and facility management.) strategy encompassing market positioning, customer segmentation, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Oversee the marketing department, ensuring the development and implementation of innovative marketing campaigns, brand promotions, events, and customer engagement activities.
• Establish effective strategies to bring in popular brands and key tenants that appeal to diverse groups of shoppers.
• Manage the facility management department, ensuring the mall remains well-maintained, clean, and safe for all tenants and visitors.
• Collaborate with tenants to optimize store performance, drive sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Evaluate the benefits of the food and beverage section and prioritize diversity among the various hotel operators, in the context of Jabal Omar Development, which represents a unified project composed of diverse operators, retailers, and food and beverage options.
• Maintain a cohesive and harmonious atmosphere among common areas, regardless of the associated hotels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote the mall as a premier destination.
• Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the hotels shops tenants to boost their stores productivity, drive up their revenue, and elevate the overall shopping experience.
• Develop and manage budgets for marketing, facility management, and other operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members across the marketing and facility management departments.
• Represent the mall at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to support their professional growth and success.
• Develop a Convention Centre plan to take over from Hilton, promote and increase the share of the business.
• Renovate the JODCs composed of hotels and malls and transform them into prosperous destination that aligns with our predetermined strategies and objectives, which enhance the assets value and maximize its potential.
• Perform any job-related duties assigned by the direct manager.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of retail trends, customer behavior, and marketing best practices.
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and drive results.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel as needed for events, meetings, and other business activities.
