Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Checking, verifying & entering of sales invoices as per company accounting procedures & assurance calculation of sales invoices as per contracts mechanism.
  • Checking, verifying & entering of supplier/vendor invoices as per company accounting procedures.
  • Petty cash preparation and disbursement as per company procedures.
  • Bank reconciliation on weekly & monthly basis. Tracking/follow up of supplier/vendor advances on timely basis with procurement department.
  • Tracking/follow up of customers/customers aging with customers services department on monthly basis.
  • Preparation of vendor aging report on monthly basis.
  • Physical inventory count on monthly basis.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Preparing & process monthly payroll & entering in accounting system.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports e.g. Cost comparison, project progress report.
  • Prepare Monthly Financial Statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash flow, etc..).
  • Preparing budgeting forecast.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Preparing the requested reports for the year ends closing/external auditors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, MBA is a plus.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven years of experience in progressively responsible acc0ounting roles, with at least 5 years.
  • Proficient in using financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
