Title:BIM ManagerBIM ManagerLOCATIONRiyadh, Saudi ArabiaPROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.THE ROLEReports to Senior BIM Manager and assists the SeniorBIM Manager in proving management and direction for the architectural discipline or may be assigned to lead a major architectural project.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews and approves discipline staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules on each project. Maintains appropriate staffing level, including temporary personnel, as needed. Reviews and approves staff forecasting reports.
  • If assigned to a major project, manages architectural efforts and coordinates all discipline staffing requirements.
  • Monitors the quality and progress of the discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied. Works closely with Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity.
  • Establishes standards and procedures manuals for the discipline. Recommends improvements to department procedures.
  • Supports pre-contract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • BSc, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years overall experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of 3 years working in Middle East
  • Experience managing the facilities design, or the planning and coordination of capital projects that included the overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities
  • Knowledge of operational aspects of civil & infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities with experience in construction management and practice
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • A high standard of spoken and written English should be a requirement
  • User of MS Office
