Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Infrastructure BIM Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work as a BIM Modeller for Power (HV/MV/LV), Street Lighting, and Telecommunication Networks.What Youll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain electrical infrastructure BIM models using Civil 3D software.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.
  • Create accurate and detailed construction documentation for electrical systems.
  • Perform clash detection analysis and provide solutions to mitigate conflicts.
  • Review and coordinate design changes with Engineers and the Technical Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, as well as local and national codes and regulations.
  • Participate in design meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
  • Research and implement new technologies and techniques to improve project efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to Design Manager.
What Required Skills Youll Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • Typically 5 years work experience in the electrical field and 3 years of experience in electrical infrastructure BIM modelling are required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
