Job Description

The opportunityProject: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects at a strategic level to achieve the clients objectives and maintain Maces values.
  • Assessing and defining the logistics project execution plan in collaboration with the client and project delivery team.
  • Managing and motivating the Mace logistics team, whilst identifying risks and opportunities to continually develop our people, project performance and succession plans at either project, programme, or regional level.
  • Monitoring project logistics performance in key areas (planning, interface coordination, cost management, risk assessment, risk management, value management) utilising digital technology where applicable and driving innovation throughout the project and the team.
  • Identifying new business opportunities through delivering exceptional service to the client and being aware of other developing opportunities the client may have within the existing commission or new commissions.
  • Developing and implementing execution strategies for logistics in line with the requirements of the client, that are scalable and flexible to meet the demands of the programme.
  • Implementing packages across the site, potentially including, but not limited to site security, temporary roads, connections, and temporary utilities.
  • Supervising, and collaborating with, consultants and contractors to provide the necessary input to support the logistics project.
  • Delivering a smooth-running, high-performance project through diligent documentation and policy development and implementation.
  • Solving issues as they arise and recommending courses of action where conflict is realized.
  • Managing the Mace project logistics budget, along with the project logistics budget
  • Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with the clients team, to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
About youYou have a degree qualification preferable but not essential, a BSc degree in a construction management discipline or equivalent experience, you have excellent knowledge of construction projects legal frameworks, excellent understanding of key project processes and excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project management equating quality and value with the individual clients and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
