Assoc DigitalCommunications ProfessionalBasic FunctionThe position provides support and assistance as directed to the Digital Communication and Website Team. Responsible, under the general direction of the Head of Digital Communications and Website, for producing and editing all types of digital content for the assigned digital medium or on special assignment for various Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) digital communication projects.ScopeThe Digital Communications Associate is responsible for many of the day-to-day digital communications activities of the organization. The associate will work to ensure consistent, timely and effective digital communications through the organizations communication vehicles including website, intranet, e-newsletters, email, social media and other digital communications channels. Working under the direction of the Head of Digital Communications and Website, the associate will also assist in evaluating and analyzing the effectiveness of these efforts and will help generate ideas to increase effectiveness.Principal ContactsInternal stakeholders, hospital staff, JHI Marketing & Communications DepartmentPrincipal Duties

  1. Planning, developing and implementing Digital Communication Strategies
  2. Liaising with colleagues and subject matter experts.
  3. Basic content production and publishing for company intranet, company website, awareness materials, talking points, and reports.
  4. Editing, maintaining and testing of company website and intranet
  5. Researching, writing and distributing digital articles and information
  6. Devising and coordinating digital communication opportunities
EducationBachelors degree in Digital Media, Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related fieldExperienceMust have up to 5 years experience working in the field of digital communications, public relations, journalism, or health communicationsCertifications/Other requirements as applicable
  1. Must be proficient in written and spoken Arabic and English, particularly as related to the requirements of content creation.
  2. Preferred skills include:
  • Website management and maintenance,
  • CMS back-end and front-end development,
  • HTML5 and CSS coding,
  • Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
