NI-CO is seeking to recruit enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated person to act asDe-Institutionalisation (De-I), Coordination Officerto support implementation of the above EU project based in al Ruceifa.Working for NI-CO, theseCoordination Officerwill be based inthe Al Amal Care Centre (Ruceifa)and will report directly to and be accountable to the NI-CO resident Component Lead for their work.They will provide support to the local project team and the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) of Jordan.TheCoordination Officerwill be expected to positively contribute in progressing the objective of transforming residential institutions across Jordan.This will involve them supporting the actual discharge of residents to their own families/communities and in the immediate follow up to ensure that families are being properly supported in caring for their loved ones.The appointed will be expected to coordinate activities related to the transition of residents from centres to their family homes or other community settings.This will involve working closely with and supporting the residents, centre directors and staff, families and others who may be directly involved in providing services in the community.SHe will also work to support the De-I unit in MoSD along with the NI-CO resident Component Lead.TheCoordination Officerwill report to the NI-CO Component Lead and will provide professional support to the local project team and the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) of Jordan.ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE5 years? experience of working in care servicesExperience of developing assessments, care plans including management of case conferencesAbility to support the work on De-I and the relationship between NI-CO, the MoSD and HCDKnowledgeable about the strategic plan for De-I and the Law No.20: 2017Good organisational and planning skillsComputer literate (MS Office ? word, excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work as a team memberSelf-motivated to achieve resultsDESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCECommitted to the ideology and principles of De-IA qualified trainer of trainersPrevious experience of working on international co-operation projectsWork, educational or voluntary background in the social protection sectorKnowledge of EU policies and institutions
