Roles & ResponsibilitiesJob Title: Senior Finance Functional Consultant ? Odoo ERP (Manufacturing)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Finance Functional Consultant to support the successful delivery of an ongoing Odoo ERP implementation for a manufacturing company.Business requirements have already been completed. The consultant's responsibility is to review the implementation, work closely with developers, validate all finance-related processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards and manufacturing best practices, coordinate testing, and ensure the project is successfully completed and handed over.This is not a bookkeeping or operational accounting role.Key ResponsibilitiesReview existing business and functional requirements.Validate all finance-related configurations and custom developments in Odoo.Work closely with developers to clarify functional requirements and ensure correct implementation.Identify functional gaps and recommend solutions based on Odoo best practices.Ensure seamless integration between Accounting, Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and other related modules.Validate product costing, inventory valuation, WIP, landed cost, manufacturing transactions, and financial postings.Ensure compliance with IFRS, IAS, and manufacturing finance best practices.Review financial reports, workflows, and approval processes.Prepare and execute Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Track issues and ensure timely resolution before go-live.Support go-live, stabilization, and final project handover.Prepare implementation documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the client.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA is highly preferred.Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance or Manufacturing Finance.Minimum 3 years of experience as an ERP Finance Functional Consultant.Experience in manufacturing ERP implementations is mandatory.Experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.Required KnowledgeManufacturing FinanceCost AccountingProduct CostingBill of Materials (BOM) CostingInventory Valuation (FIFO, AVCO, Standard Cost)Work in Progress (WIP)Landed CostGeneral LedgerFinancial StatementsBudgeting and ForecastingManufacturing Cost AnalysisInternal ControlsIFRS / IAS StandardsOdoo AccountingOdoo Manufacturing (MRP)Odoo InventoryOdoo PurchaseOdoo SalesDesired Candidate ProfileSkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Ability to coordinate with developers and implementation teams.Strong functional testing and UAT experience.Excellent documentation and reporting skills.Ability to manage implementation timelines and deliverables.Success CriteriaAll finance-related requirements are fully implemented.Compliance with accounting standards and manufacturing best practices.Successful completion of UAT with no critical issues.Smooth integration between all Odoo modules.Successful go-live and stabilization.Complete documentation, knowledge transfer, and client handover.
