Site Engineer

Job Description

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site.Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and productivity.Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.Prepare site reports, inspections, and project documentation.Conduct quantity take-offs and verify BOQs.Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions.Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 5+ years of relevant construction experience.UPDA/MMUP Certification preferred.Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.Experience in site supervision, project coordination, and quality control.Proficient in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Experience in Qatar/GCC projects preferred.Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.Ability to work independently and manage multiple project responsibilities.Key SkillsSite SupervisionProject CoordinationQuantity Surveying & BOQAutoCADPrimavera P6Cost EstimationQuality Control (QA/QC)HSE ComplianceTechnical ReportingProblem SolvingTeam ManagementCommunication SkillsTime ManagementConstruction PlanningContract Administration
