Job Description

• Overseeing and coordinating the work of electrical crews
• Maintaining project schedules and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget
• Interpreting blueprints, designs, and specifications to ensure that electrical systems are installed according to plan
• Communicating with other contractors and construction managers to ensure that electrical work is coordinated with other trades
• Hiring and training electrical technicians and apprentices
• Ensuring that electrical work meets all safety regulations and codes
• Ordering and maintaining an inventory of electrical supplies and equipment
• Inspecting work for quality and ensuring that all work meets customer expectations
• Troubleshooting problems with electrical systems and equipment
• Keeping accurate records of work done and materials used for billing and reference.
