Job Opening for Painting Inspector in Medgulf Construction W.L.LCompany Profile: Medgulf Construction Company -Established in 1975, Medgulf is one of the leading EPIC Contractors in Qatar. Medgulf’s construction activities include both Oil & Gas and Civil & Infrastructure sectors. The Company has completed projects across a wide range of areas, including the construction of petrochemical as well as Oil & Gas Plant, shutdowns, high rise buildings, commercial complexes, water & sewage treatment plants, warehouses, and other important prestigious projects.* Must hold Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.* Must have NACE Level 2 or BGAS Grade 2 certificate.* Should have 10 Years of Experience in Oil and Gas Projects with minimum 05 Years of GCCExperience.* Fluency in English Reading, Writing and Speaking must.* Age 30-40.* Must be available for immediate joining.Job Responsibilities,1. Assist Project QA/QC Representative in preparing and implementing quality control plans and programmes in the allocated area.2. Understand project quality control plan requirements and makes suitable programmes for surveillance and inspection.3. Review Medgulf qualified painting procedure specifications and determine their suitability for the project. When required perform qualification test for painting procedure specifications.4. Review qualifications and history sheets of painters and decide their suitability for the project. When required, provide painter training and perform painter performance test.5. When necessary, obtain customer approval for painter/painting procedure.6. Prepare and maintain necessary register of painters qualified to paint, paint procedure register, inspection/measuring/test equipment register etc.7. Monitor correct and controlled usage of materials, consumables and equipment in the processes.8. Perform visual inspection of materials and processes such as fabrication, painting and installation in accordance with the relevant procedures and prepare appropriate quality records.9. Monitor production painting and ensure that the painting procedure specification is fullyadhered to.10. Review the performance of individual painters and prepare painter history records.13. Perform installation inspections and complete corresponding checklists.16. Keep Project QA/QC Representative and/or Planning Engineer updated about the progress of QC activities, on a routine basis.17. Assist Project QA/QC Representative in compiling documentation packages for the relevant systems and check as-built markups.18. Participate in internal and external (by customer) audits and ensure prompt rectification of identified deficiencies.19. Perform other appropriate project activities assigned by the Project QA/QC Representative/Project or Construction Manager such as clarification of queries, follow up of non-conformances, as-built markups on drawings etc. Company Profile Company Profile: Medgulf Construction Company -Established in 1975, Medgulf is one of the leading EPIC Contractors in Qatar.
