Forecast the requirements of raw materials based on engineering Schedule /provided RMLs.
To prepare Inventory plan.
Monitor the inventory levels and coordinate with Purchasing for the delivery of the material.
Review all the system transactions are done on time.
Coordinate with Storekeepers for Cycle count and do the necessary adjustment to match the physical quantity versus System quantity.
Monthly closing reports, to check material in WIP and make adjustments to match physical and system qty.
Responsible for corporate part number database, the monitoring and classification of parts and associated data.
Supervise Store keepers /Lead man to ensure the material supply as per the requirement.
To produce monthly MIS reports, materials reconcile reports ( RML v/s BOM) for every projects
He should produce the nesting, materials allocations for the monthly fabrication plan
Minimize the scrap % by using the latest nesting software?s , responsible to produce/align with nesting programmes with respective to material allocations
Maintaining the safety stocks for the special materials & Project materials as per RML/BOM
He is custodian of company?s inventory & raw materials, provide the usage, stock & allocated material status as when asked/required,
