As a Consultant/ Specialist Thoracic Surgeon at SearchPlus HR, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of thoracic surgery.As a Consultant/ Specialist Thoracic Surgeon, your main responsibility will be to diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the chest, including the lungs, esophagus, and mediastinum. You will perform complex surgical procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the advancement of thoracic surgery.Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating patients symptoms, medical history, and test results to determine diagnosis and treatment plan
  • Performing complex thoracic surgeries, including lobectomy, pneumonectomy, and mediastinal tumor resection
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, oncologists, and pulmonologists, to develop comprehensive treatment strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in thoracic surgery techniques, technologies, and research
  • Contributing to academic research, publishing findings, and presenting at conferences
  • Mentoring and guiding junior medical staff and residents
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/ Specialist Thoracic Surgeon
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of the chest
  • Expertise in performing complex thoracic surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and successful outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced surgical techniques, instruments, and technologies specific to thoracic surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient care
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations
