Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with extensive knowledge of product and warehouse inventory management, retail, and e-commerce. Well experience in VAT and the new corporate tax is essential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and oversee product and warehouse inventory accounting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations, preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans and strategies to support business growth.
  • System Customization: Work with developers to customize and optimize the accounting system.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
