Job Description

Job Summary:-? Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering.? Experience: 5-10 years of work-related experience which minimum 5 years quantity surveying experience with an contracting organization (GCC experience).? Responsibilities:- ? Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs & sales. ? Prepare & monitor project cash flow forecasts. ? Measure, Value, Submit & Negotiate contract variations. ? Provide advice to project staff on commercial & contractual matters including reviewing & drafting of correspondence. ? Prepare submit & negotiate project final accounts. ? Commercial vetting of subcontractor tenders & contracts. ? Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts. ? Ensure that business commercial processes adhered to at project level. ? Assist in preparation & adherence to project purchasing targeting & costing budgets. ? Communicate regularly with project staff & specialist subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place, understood & followed at all times. ? Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable. ? Monitor all commercial information in relation to project including labor, material & subcontractor cost forecasting. ? Supply all relevant information to the Projects Manager for review at the specified intervals set. ? Carry out monthly progress checklist on site for all sites. ? Input progress on valuation system / prepare subcontract accruals. ? Produce Valuation Breakdown Reconciliation. ? Carry out cost & value reconciliation on all items in VBR & agree final VBC with Projects Manager. ? Agree costs with the Finance Department / Prepare Cost Value Comparison (P&L) notes. ?
