Job Summary and PurposeResponsible for ensuring all operations in the shipyard are executed in conformance with Qatar Shipayrd Technology Solutions HSE Management and maintaining a high safety standard in the shipyard.AccountabilitiesKey Accountabilities:1. Conducts Adhoc audits to ensures that all operations in the shipyard are executed in conformance with safety legislations and in-house rules and regulations.2. Conducts internal and external audits per HSE Audit Plan and acts/represents HSSE Department during any audit by third party.3. Regularly reviews HSE procedures & work instructions and recommends changes as applicable. 4. Reviews and revises HSE KPIs and Objectives and ensures the execution of HSE Annual Improvement Plan.5. Develops Mass Tool Box Talk based on HIRA and HSE Alert to be broadcasted to all employees.6. A non-degree holder with safety qualification, with operations and safety experience, minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Occupational Health and Safety Management systems related position. related position. Alternatively, minimum experience per client specification if role is project specific.• Experience in HSSE, preferably in marine or shipyard industry and with Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
