Job Description

We are brave in both decision and action and we believe that good business means a better world.The Therapeutic Area Lead (TAL) Breast & Hemotology for Pakistan is an Enabling Team member primarily responsible for making the new engagement model a success, focusing on transformation, capability building and turning vision into reality. TAL is a senior level role whose objective is to work closely with Patient Journey Partners (PJPs) & Health System Partners (HSPs) to develop their capabilities, and to create a common vision and strategy for both current and future pipeline molecules in the given Therapeutic area.Because of the networked, no-borders approach Roche takes to ensure we are doing now what patients need next, the TAL will regularly work with colleagues from other countries, regions, and areas of the business.Key responsibilities include

  • Provide leadership and coaching to PJPs so that they are able to build their capabilities to a level where they can independently identify and solve hurdles in the patient journey
  • Support the PJPs in defining the main hurdles of patient journey and in accelerating the process of removing these hurdles to deliver better outcomes to patients faster
  • Build an overarching vision and strategy for his/ her therapeutic area in alignment with PJPs
  • Work closely with PJPs to ensure appropriate balance of promotional & non-promotional activities and ensure that compliance and ethics boundaries are maintained at all times
  • Provide timely feedback to PJPs and extend personal coaching to all who need it for the development of PJPs
  • Act as a system thinker with the ability to identify shared challenges and opportunities among stakeholders around which a common vision and strategy can be built
  • Leverage and support the Pharma International Network and digital solutions to enable effective engagement with customers and stakeholders
  • Lead and support Healthcare System Partner (HSP) for provincial strategies and tactics to secure, maintain and improve reimbursement for Roche products, enabling focused patient care.
  • Partner with healthcare system stakeholders to drive healthcare system innovation and unlock possibilities to deliver value for the ecosystem and society
  • Shapes the environment in an impactful way in accordance with business priorities and global positions through lobby/stakeholder engagement
  • Effective People Leadership through continuous demonstration of Roche Leadership Commitments
  • Responsible to report incident/accident immediately to SHE department. Attend / complete all requisite on-line and F2F trainings (Role specific, Safety Responsibility and Compliance) within specified time limit to ensure the learning outcome after the training has been implemented.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Abilities
  • Science degree from accredited university (Masters is a plus)
  • Business degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry including 5 years of people management experience with a demonstrated track record of strong leadership skills

  • Fluent written and verbal English
