Required to join an international engineering consultancy working on the construction of the hospital in Muscat. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Structural Engineering Design on this project, This includes:Reviews, evaluates and approve design submissions, drawings, calculations, material submissions, method statements and documents for accuracy and contractual compliance with the applied standards and specifications.Verifies that Employer REQUIREMENTS, applicable codes and engineering standard practices are being met.Specifying, designing and analyzing new and existing structural systems utilizing engineering standards and specialist tools and software, including computer-aided design systems.Create engineering drawings and technical specifications for Client designs/works/methods/processesas requestedResolves issues or problems concerning conflicting design requirements, specifications and/or difficult interface/coordination requirements REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should meet the following criteria15 +years of experience in RCC structural engineering design and analysis works.Experience in the design of structural building systems including multi-storey buildings, heavy civil structures, hospitals, commercial, educational buildings, and other infrastructure projects (minimum 10 years experience in a design consultancy company). Experience in steel construction works is an added value.Extensive working experience on design development of Hospitals/Healthcare facilitiesSound experience and thorough knowledge of structural engineering design and code requirements supported with good design experience with the latest UK health related standards (such as HBN and HTM).Fully conversant with relevant international standards.
