Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our fast food restaurant in Muscat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, cost control, cash handling, and compliance with local regulations, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient financial management.Key Responsibilities:Maintain daily accounting entries, including sales, purchases, expenses, and petty cashMonitor daily cash sales, POS reports, and bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial statements, profit & loss reports, and management reportsControl food cost, inventory cost, and wastage in coordination with operations teamManage supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliationsHandle payroll preparation and staff-related financial recordsEnsure compliance with Oman VAT regulations and assist in VAT filingCoordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentsMaintain proper documentation and filing as per company and legal requirementsSupport management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
