Job Description

Ooredoo Oman Family Member:As the Senior - Management Accountant you will be responsible to give support to the Department Head- Planning & Management Accounting in preparing regular financial and KPI reports, presentation etc for a variety of stakeholders. Leads number of improvement initiatives to further enhance quality and timeliness of reporting.Core Responsibilities:You will be responsible of the following:Reporting:- Participate in month end activities and reporting of financial performance - Prepare monthly flash report and management reporting pack which include Income statement, Balance sheet, Cash flow, revenue details, Opex details, Capex and headcount- Prepare the monthly Board and OG presentation slides on financial results- Verify reporting packages are reflecting accurate numbers for both plan and actual- Prepare monthly presentation and work with Internal and external stakeholders to meet their demand for information- Answer TRA and other government requirement for information- Analyse and comment on key events and trends which impacts company performance on monthly basis- Assist Department Head in attending to ad-hoc queries and clarifications received from various departments including extracting relevant data- interact with IT and other departments in designing, creating, improving and automating various reports- Perform various financial analysis and report cost optimisation savingsBudgeting and Forecasting:- Support controllers with designing and collecting information required for forecasting and budgeting- Design and preparation of actual Vs budget reports to help controllers manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets- Monitor and actively process budget transfers requests and budget availability- Coordinate with IT to develop tools and solutions for improving and automating reporting and controls REQUIREMENTS: The Person:You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the telecoms or similar sector. At least 3 years of experience in reporting and management accounting Demonstrate ability to deal with team and work under pressure with a bachelors degree in Accounting is a must.Skills Required:- Excellent Excel and Power point skills- Good MS Office skills - Good communication skills. (Written and spoken English).- Analytical and accurate, attention to detail.- Good problem solving skills.- Good ability to handle pressure and work for dead line.Note: you will be required to attach the following:- Resume / cv
