QA/QC Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary?Liaise with the Client?s Site Representative on day to day Quality related matters of the Project.?Liaise with the site team to ensure all activities are satisfactorily completed and inspection and test records are prepared.?Prepare Project Quality Documents such as PQP, ITP, Procedures, Method Statement Reports, Forms etc.?Ensure implementation of the Quality Policy, PQP and associated Procedures/ Plan by all project personnel.?Review and approve Inspection & Test records at the project.?Compile & maintain pertinent records of inspection and test.?Monitor the subcontractors and ensure that contract requirements are fulfilled.?Coordinate inspection & test requirements of the project at appropriate stages as per the Quality Control Plan/Inspection Test Plan.?Update and Maintain all relevant Codes & Standards, Specification & Quality System documents at site in coordination with the QAQC Manager.?Able to perform required tests at the site as per applicable BS, ASTM, AASHTO, ACI etc. standards.?Able to carry out plant trials and perform Concrete Mix designs.?Coordinate with the QAQC Manager for implementation of QMS requirements and coordinate Internal / External Quality Audits & Follow-up audits at the project.?Direct the Lab Technicians to fulfill inspection and test requirements of the Project.?Advise project personnel in taking appropriate Corrective & Preventive Actions on Non-Conformance pertaining to Civil Works.?Analyze Corrective & Preventive actions on the NCRs / CARs raised in the project.?Identify in-house / external training needs related to the project.?Review quality documents i.e. Material Test certificates, Method Statements, Equipment calibrations etc. received from subcontractor?s / Supplier?s.?To assist Project Manager in preparation of periodical project performance reports on QMS.?Shall review calibration certificates of Monitoring and Measuring Equipment used for inspection & testing.?Shall conduct relevant quality training for company employees.?Periodically check calibration status of Monitoring & Measuring equipment pertaining to project works.?Witness all concrete pouring, slump tests, concrete sampling and testing carried out at site / laboratory.?Verify and ensure all site survey / setting-out reports prepared by the Surveyor are correct and complete.?Assist the Storekeeper in the Receiving Inspection of materials, where required.?Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 standard.For WhatsApp Call (Available 24 x 7) - 0091 9811645433 Company Profile SKC Management Consultancy Pvt.
