Part-Time Lecturer in Financial Management Department: Professional Development & Humanities Campus: College of Engineering, Al Hail Reporting To: Head of Department Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in Finance or a Similar Discipline Experience: Five Years of Teaching Experience in a Higher Educational Institute Language Requirement: Proficiency inEnglishis a must. normal>Specific Responsibilities:* Assist in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. * Take additional responsibilities, for example, Course leader / Team leader as assigned by the Head of department, and effectively discharge duties and responsibilities as required by that position. normal>General Responsibilities:* Show academic excellence by engaging in teaching; professional practice; initiating developments; encouraging innovation. * Stimulate the adoption of innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment. * To liaise, establish and sustain peer communications on course/program delivery. * Ensure peer interactions among the department and course team. * Assist the department in the preparation of assessment and abide by the examination processes. * Assist in reviewing and revising learning and teaching resources, and course handbooks. * Practice and exhibit a high level of professionalism and zero tolerance to unprofessional activities. Requirement /Skills: normal>Expertise Requirements:* Knowledge of Financial Management and Business Management * Well versed in the usage of computer technology and applications for virtual teaching * Knowledge in course design and teaching material development * 5+ years? experience in teaching is an added advantage * Fair command over the English Language as the course is to be taught and assessed in English normal> normal>Accountability:* Program quality and standard, and benchmarking. * Professionalism and zero tolerance for unethical behavior of members of staff. * Course delivery and proper record of students? attendance, mentor-mentee meeting minutes, and Honors project students? performance appraisal. * Input to course monitoring reports, student surveys, feedback and analysis Please apply before 31-Jul-2022
