PURPOSE:Coordinates, interfaces and approves all maintenance activity for all the operations area, unit and process at Duqm Refinery under Operations Area Team Leader scope, acting as central point of accountability and contact for all maintenance related activities at the designed area for the maintenance work plus operations activities needed to prepare equipment for maintenance, including the issuance of permit to work, and return of equipment to service through: (1) Interfaces with Operations and Complex Manager (to ensure high quality work notifications are written clearly, equipment is ready for hand over to Maintenance as scheduled, safe work permits are ready when Maintenance crews show up to work, and equipment is returned to service, (2) Interfaces with Operations and Maintenance to ensure all maintenance work is appropriately risk ranked, planned, and scheduled, (3) Chairs the daily risk ranking meeting with Maintenance and Operations to appropriately risk rank and prioritize work, (4) Interfaces with Maintenance Scheduler to ensure maintenance work is scheduled at the optimal time (once work is scheduled only the OMC can break the schedule), and (5) Shares KPIs with Area Manager and Maintenance Manager, in order to ensure an incident and injury free work place, team-work and collaboration among Operations and Maintenance such that work notifications are well written, operators care for equipment to maximise performance and time between repairs, maximize plant safety, availability, and efficiency, for the quality delivery of products.Operation Maintenance Coordinator (OCM) position will act in accordance with Duqm Refinery?s values and strategies, policies, guidelines, technology platform, HSE standards, Omani?s government and other legal justification?s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives and Ethics standards.Education Requirements:Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Diploma in Engineering or similar (preferably mechanic or electric and instrumentation specialization)Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Engineer, Operator Day Supervisor, or Operator Shift Supervisor within oil and gas refinery and Petrochemical industry.Knowledge of the Refining process and plant equipment.Experience in supporting the installation of at least one SAP system for maintenance management on behalf of the Operations team.The incumbent must have good communication skills in verbal and written English.Display calmness under pressure, ability to focus on team prioritiesSeasoned maintenance coordinator or operators shift supervisor, with in depth expertise in one or several of the following processes:
