Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western educated, Board Certified Tier 1 female Obstetrician Gynecologist for their client in Oman which is a JCI accredited 100 bed multispecialty hospital serving the region for over 25 years.We are looking for ABMS, RCPSC, CFPC, CCT, CCST, CSCST, FRACP, RANZCR, M Med, CMSA, FRC ( New Zealand, Australia ), Austria ,Belgium Diploma, Netherlands ( MRSC, HVRC,RGS ), Swedish Board, DES/CES/DESC ( France ), German Board / Facharzt / Oberarzt / Equivalent qualification.?The Physician would provide prenatal and postnatal care; obtain complete medical, family and obstetrical history and physical data on OB patients and review patient records.?Do normal GYN care and preventative medicine.?Treat diseases and injuries of female reproductive system.?Prepare and review case histories and obtain data through interviews.?Perform an obstetrical exam including limited ultra sound and records findings.?Assess patients and prepare a plan of care.?Order, evaluate and review appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.?Perform diagnostic procedures as required.?See walk in patients and referrals.?Appropriate Documentation.?Conduct rounds in the ward on assigned shifts as applicable.?Maintain and update handover sheet.?Direct nurses in procedures for preoperative and postoperative care such as administering sedatives, prescribing diets, and preparing operative area of patients.?Perform appropriate surgical procedures as privileged and treat patients with postoperative complications.?Supervise the nurses, midwives, and specialist/GP as required.?Perform normal and instrumental deliveries in maternity cases. OB emergencies, treatment of intrauterine fetal demise, incomplete spontaneous abortion, missed abortion, treatment of pregnancy complications.?Evaluate and prepare the patient for Cesarean section and perform or assist the surgery.Salary : USD 20,000 per month, accommodation and family benefits (negotiable) Company Profile Davidson Healthcare Recruitment is a leading Healthcare and Leadership headhunting consultancy based in Dubai, with branches in UK and India.
