With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).What you will learn and contribute toAre you passionate about improve RF performance and solving problems?As part of our team, you will:

  • Lead the optimization to improve network quality by optimized Nokia LTE/5G parameters and other physical change
  • Setting, planning and execution for the Network strategy in terms of coverage, mobility and User perspective
  • Customer problem deep investigations and troubleshooting experience using various tools and techniquesincluding root cause analysis
  • Interfaces with customers to provide network design and performance related services, according to the solutions portfolio
  • Analysis of KPIs, neighbor relations, investigation, and improvement of network quality problems,implementation and tuning of new features in 5G / 4G (LTE) / 3G
  • Radio propagation planning, optimization of coverage footprint and service
  • Preparation and execution for high level management presentations including managerial and technical details
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scop
Your skills and experienceThe Senior RF Optimization Engineer will be required lead Nw Performance and optimisaiton team and work independently to perform network optimization activities during network rollout and tuning optimization phase and trials pilots of new technolgies.Key must-haves:
  • Strong experience in RF Planning & Optimization for 5G/LTE / UMTS / GSM.
  • Deep knowledge of 5G/LTE KPIs - expertise in creating and analysis of statistical KPI reporting
  • Expertise with RF Optimization tools, DT measurement tools (ex. TEMS, NEMO, XCAL/XCAP or equivalent), post-processing tools (ex. Actix) and RF planning tools
  • End-user / customer problem investigation
Equally important soft skills:
  • Highly motivated and flexible to work in any project
  • Practical and result oriented with focus on product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Self-directive, team player, open communication and ability to work in international team
  • ExcelentCommunication and presentation skills
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Programming skills in R, Python, SQL, C++ is essential
  • Querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL, etc
  • Multivendor knowledge is an added value
