Position: NETWORK ENGINEERJOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:The following are the key responsibilities though it?s not limited to scope defined below & you should be available to complete the tasks given by Client:? Managing network operations and technical matters related to its infrastructure.? Run, install and make settings for (Switch), of all kinds.? Follow up on the firewall and make sure of the important updates on it.? Follow-up and implementation of information security circulars and policies? Adding new VLAN networks and making adjustments to the switches? Carrying out daily tasks to ensure the safety of lines and the Internet and their work as required.? Monitoring the operation of the UPS system and spare batteries and notifying those concerned in the Ministry immediately and before the occurrence of the problem.? Monitoring and following up the operation of the communication system (CISCO Call Manager), billing system and visual communications.Take backups of network devices and accessories & store them securely.? Create a booklet that contains a comprehensive and complete description of the network devices, how to connect them, and make drawings through (Visio) and update them continuously.? Preparing daily reports on the work assigned and explaining the problems that occurred and how they were resolved.
