- Mobile Access Design IT Network Admin (22227)Mobile Access Design IT Network Admin - ( 22227 )DescriptionROLE PURPOSE:Role Purpose To provide a range of services for wireless access / Wi-Fi design including RF Planning, site surveys, facilitating and coordinating projects, preparing business cases and RFT?s, project plans, technical evaluation criteria and presentations procurement documentation and reports in order to meet departmental goals and objectives in line with Oman Telecommunications strategy annual goals. Synchronize the mobile access expansion with the core and transmission through effective coordination. Derive mobile Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing Digitization and Automation process. Assess NB-IoT & IIoT rollout based on market segments. Conducts knowledge sharing sessions on regular basis to ensure orientation of radio planning and Wifi design activities within the section.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:1. Planning and Delivery? Perform the RF planning and Design activities to assess the network coverage and capacity requirements (Mobile / Wi-Fi). ? Assist in Frequency planning, propagation model tuning, frequency carving as per the needs of the network and execute the required support by experts and Sr. Engineers. ? Execute & Follow-up the deliverables of the planned sites in the assigned area and ensure they are within the agreed SLA ? Liable for project follow-up and reporting. ? Preparation of detailed scope of works for the proposed expansions and special events access requirements. ? Mobile Design Tools (Asset, Mentor, Ibwave, Optima.etc) ? Execute the deliverables of the planned sites in the assigned area and ensure they are within the agreed SLA ? Assess of VoWiFi designs ? Identify the requirement and perform trails for network enchantments2. People Management and Coordination? Assign duties/ Jobs to technicians and assist them to solve problems ? Lead cross-department interaction with other planning departments. ? Lead coordination with other department for site surveys and planning requirements. ? Works effectively in own team and maintains appropriate relationships in order to enhance organizational performance in the pursuit of shared goals.3. Procurement and Operational Management? Submission of RFTs ? Preparation of SoW & BoQ4. Administration and Support Services? Submission of Reports ? Letters responses.5. Guidelines, and process? Follow the guidelines and processes during design phase and suggest improvements.6. New phases and projects? Leading the Modernization project for cluster design, CAC approvals. ? Follow up on the projects of the assigned area and report project progress.7. Tools utilization? Undertake the appropriate utilization of Radio Planning and WiFi tools and ensure the planning tool database is up to date.8. Reporting? Monitor & Prepare weekly and Monthly report regarding utilization and capacity reports.9. Sites Survey? Conduct Technical Site Survey Reports (TSSR). ? Update the Site database with radio design and solution; ? Take initiative to resolve problems/challenges identified on site to enable optimal/solution design10. Behavioral? A working experience in radio network design field Indoor/ Outdoor with experience in WiFi network planning ? Good knowledge of planning and related tools ? Carry Frequency Planning, Model tuning independently. ? Good in MS Office skills ? Fluent written and spoken English ? Good written and spoken Arabic is desirable ? General knowledge in relevant field as per defined JD ? WiFi Networks and designs ? Mobile computing process and digitization ? NB-IoT and IIoT EDUCATTION & EXPERIENCE: ?Bachelorsin Engineering Telecommunications, Electronics, IT & Mobile Computing. ?3-6 Yearsof ExperienceJob Posting: 09-Jun-2022
