Nokia?s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.Reporting into NI Strategic Sourcing, Component Strategy, the Material Supply Chain Manager is a dynamic role supporting the Business Group Procurement, EMS Management, Supply Chain Operations as well as our EMS partners.It offers exposure to a broad range of processes, cross functional teams and the systems required to support the overall supply plan.What you will learn and contribute toThe role of Material Supply Chain Manager is instrumental to strengthen our relationships with our EMS partners and maintain a strong collaboration withinthe NI Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

  • The candidate will be required to work on site at the EMS partner in Timisoara, Romania, approximately 50% of the time.
  • Engage consistently with Procurement and Supply Chain Operations to ensure Nokia forecast alignment and that the supply chain is being executed accordingly in the EMS ERP.
  • Participate locally in Nokia/EMS execution calls to ensure priority alignment.
  • Validation of component execution will include adherence to Lead Time, PO execution within the MRP cycle, supplier confirmations, shortage management and allocation execution within EMS ERP.
  • Support post material processes at the EMS to ensure clear to build (CTB) analysis and proposed supply plan (PSP) are executed accordingly.
Your skills and experienceYou have:
  • University Degree
  • Relevant industry experience in a Purchasing or Supply Chain role
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and competent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical skills and detail oriented personality.
  • Ability to priortize; multi-task and work under the pressure of tight time constraints.
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Experience with Kinaxis and various ERP systems is preferred.
