Cabin Maintenance Managers main duties and responsibilities are mentioned but not limited to the below:Responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining all Base & Line related activities with regards to Cabin Maintenance.Ensure that all Cabin Engineers and Technicians in line and at base have flights allocated in their shifts to inspect and rectify the cabin defects on daily basis upon each arrival with appropriate shift handover and take over.Ensure aircraft Interiors and Exteriors appearance in maintained to the highest standard of quality and maintainability.Develop plans and policies to provide optimum maintenance and ensure that required facilities, tooling, materials and associated resources are available for all scheduled and anticipated work.Ensure that all maintenance including defect rectification, in Line Maintenance Division, is made in accordance with the approved maintenance data and tools-equipment are maintained-calibrated as per organizational procedures and standards acceptable to the Competent Authority.Manage all the resources and information flow in order to ensure a timely rectification of repetitive and carried forward aircraft defects keeping at all times a focus on safe and economic operations of the fleet.Conduct review meetings on regular basis with sectional staff to plan activities and create preventive measure to ensure smooth operations.Report any case of an un-airworthy condition or a deviation from Standard Operating Procedures to Quality Assurance.Prepare the monthly summary of the Cabin Maintenance department on defect rectifications, deferred defects, fumigation & aircraft exterior wash and share the dash board with the Senior Manager.Ensure all delays pertaining to Cabin Maintenance are duly reported to the Senior Manager with justification and action taken on daily basis.Ensure-Inspect and maintain complete list of updated records of technicians toolbox lists with ref to EPM tool control procedures.Ensure strict control of overtime of the section for corrective and cost preventative results.Ensure timely and constant update on any other duties assigned by the Senior Manager CA&HS. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 8 years or relevant experience preferably in the field of aircraft maintenance operation of which 3 years in Assistance Manager role in Aircraft Engineering function or equivalent qualification.
