TEACHING & STUDENTS SUPERVISION: * To develop or teach any of the following assigned undergraduate courses: Introduction to Soil and Water, Irrigation Principles and Design, Hydrology, Soil and Water Conservation, Integrated Water Resources Management, Water in Arid Environment, Groundwater Hydrology, or Hydropedology Or any other courses in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Department, as well as College service courses.* To Supervise BSc. Research projects and M.Sc. and Ph.D. Theses* To disseminate and to equip the undergraduate/graduate students with hands-on and field skills, advanced technologies competences, advanced software skills, among others in areas relevant to soil and water management. 2. RESEARCH: * To conduct excellent research and to develop a successful research program with the state-of-the-art methods and instrumentation in the field of soil and water sciences and technologies.* To develop and engage in research teams in the department. The candidate is expected to work as part of an interdisciplinary research team and to conduct joint research nationally and internationally.* To participate in international peer-viewed research publications and leading roles in research grants. 3. SERVICES & COMMUNITY OUTREACH: * To provide services in assigned committees relevant to the Department, College, and/or University levels* To conduct outreach activities and to engage in community services such as conducting workshops, technical training, public presentations, etc.For more details refer to the Arabic version Requirements* The candidate must have at least MSc degree in Soil & Water Management, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources or similar disciplines from a reputed University * A cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or above at BSc and MSc levels is a must.* Research and evidence of teaching assistant experience is required.* Demonstration of fieldwork and advance computing and software skills (Related to applied hydrology and Water Resources Management).* The candidate should have a strong commitment for teaching excellence and student advising both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.* The candidate must demonstrate excellent research capabilities that will enable him to develop a successful research program with the state-of-the-art methods and instrumentation in the field of soil and water sciences and technologies* The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team work spirits.
