We are hiring a Land Surveyor for a Rail Project in Oman. The role involves conducting land and site surveys to support construction and infrastructure works, ensuring accurate measurements, reliable data collection, and compliance with design plans and regulations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in field surveying, setting out, and working closely with multidisciplinary site teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct land, topographic, and boundary surveys using Total Station, GPS, and leveling instrumentsMeasure distances, angles, and elevations; verify accuracy and consistency of survey dataPrepare and maintain survey records, drawings, and reportsSupport construction teams with setting out, leveling, and alignment works on siteInterpret drawings, maps, and technical documents to ensure correct executionCoordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to meet project requirementsEnsure compliance with project standards, regulations, and approved design plansRequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience as a Land SurveyorProficient in Total Station, GPS, and leveling instrumentsBasic knowledge of surveying software and documentation practicesStrong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently on site
