Job Requires:– Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, gas ranges).– Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry equipment (e.g. washers, dryers, presses, steamers).– Perform routine preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.– Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen or laundry equipment.– Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime.– Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues.– Ensure all work complies with local codes, hotel safety procedures, and manufacturer’s guidelines.– Maintain records of maintenance work, safety checks, and repairs performed.– Follow all safety and hygiene procedures when working with gas, electricity, water, and chemicals.– Keep an accurate inventory of tools and spare parts.– Report major breakdowns or repair delays to supervisors and recommend corrective action.– Provide regular updates and technical reports to management.– Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC preferred.– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a hospitality or commercial environment.– Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.– Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.– Basic understanding of safety procedures and risk assessments.– Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.– Carry out tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Department Head.
