Shall have good overall HSE knowledge of all aspects of Laboratory analytical services, Specialized chemistry studies, laboratory Chemicals & consumables, laboratory equipment, laboratory equipments maintenance services, Laboratory equipment calibration & high-pressure sampling systems with associated maintenance services. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualification requirements for this position shall be as follows:Degree Chemical engineering, Laboratory Management, Chemistry, Physics, Petroleum Engineering, HSE qualification or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years oil field experience of which a minimum of 3 years in an HSE capacity.Fluent in written and spoken English.Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:Organize and participate in site HSE meetings & Tool Box Talks.Staff training & Implementation on Behaviour Based System (Ihtimam)Re-iterate staff regularly on 12 lifesaving rules, golden rules and house rules.Effective implementation of the Contract HSSE plan.Implementation of the Contract HSE monitoring plan.Should pro-actively identify the hazards, evaluate their risks and propose measure to bring risk level to ALARP by proposing controls as per risk control hierarchy. Update HEMP as and when required.Audits, Inspections and Incident investigation. Carrying out surveys and inspections on a regular basis in association with supervisors to ensure that safe working practices are in operation.Work towards prevention of injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipmentIdentify potential hazards and place controls before work commences and as work progressesCompilation of HSE statistics and preparation of Contract Specific HSE Reports
