Job Description

SUMMARYA quality control inspector to be responsible for conducting quality assessments for the companys projects to ensure adherence to quality standards. Inspects the quality of High-Density Polyethylene pipes (HDPE) before sending them to work execution Then writes an approved technical report to use these pipes and vice versa. A QC Inspector should be responsible for ensuring all used pipes meet quality standards.? Establishing quality standards & specifications for products that the company receives.? Preparation of the Inspection Requests, WPS, PQR and ITPs of HDPE pipes and submit it to the QC Manager.? Coordinate with the concerns representative for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.? Inspects the quality of High-Density Polyethylene pipes (HDPE) before sending them for execution.? Prepares & writes a technical report to provide advice about using the pipes or not.? Record the supplier performance.? Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet standards.? Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to processes.? Removing received products that don?t meet production standards & Specifications.? Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the concerned team.? Makes & maintains daily quality reports.? Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as the number of defective pipes, etc.? Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and suppliers.? Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.? Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.? Report to the QC section head and monitor all activities related to Quality.? Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.? Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.? Making sure all used pipes meet quality standards & Specifications? Resolve quality-related issues promptly.? Awareness and effective handling of Client Complaints (internal and external).Job Requirements? Diploma / Bachelor?s degree in Engineering.? (+3 - 5 years) Experience as a Quality Control Inspector.? Contracting and infrastructure background.? Previous experience in HDPE pipes.? Full awareness and implementation of project ITPs.? Proficient in MS Word Outlook and Microsoft Office tools and some knowledge of applicable project management software.? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.? Extremely detail-oriented.? Great troubleshooting skills.? Excellent organization and time management.? Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.? Adaptability and flexibility.? Confidentiality.? Providing Accurate Feedback.? Problem-solving skills.?
