Our client, an international company, is currently looking for a General Accountant - Oman National who will be based in Muscat, Oman. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:prepare journal entriescomplete general ledger operationsassist in monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statementsreconcile and maintain balance sheet accountsdraw up monthly financial reportsprepare analysis of accounts as requestedassist with yearend closingsadminister accounts receivable and accounts payableassist in the preparation of tax computations and returnsassist in preparing budgets and forecastsassist with payroll administrationmonitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differencesperform account/bank reconciliationsreview and process expense reportsassist with preparation and coordination of the audit processassist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:bachelor degree in accounting or financemust be an Omani nationalgood knowledge in accounting process / fresh graduate may be consideredwilling to be based in Muscat, Omanwilling to work in a multicultural environmentwilling to work from 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Sunday through ThursdayTo view other requirements we have, please visit our website www.blackpearlconsult.com
