Purpose of the Job:The FPD Coordinator shall:Develop strategies, plan, monitor and overall lead process and activities required to deliver FPD.The FPD Coordinator shall ensure through guidance and governance the development and execution of the FPD implementation plans.The role involves both creation of specific FPD systems. The position will lead the FPD coordination in company Project in all phases from Concept select through FEED, Detailed design, Construction, Pre Commissioning, Commissioning and Start -up.Principal Accountabilities:Asset related:Assets include:Rotating / Static Plant & Equipment including Compressors, Turbine, Pumps, Manifolds and Pipelines, Pig launchers and Receivers Production and Injection Wells, Dehydration, Gas Sweetning & Conditioning. Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment.or the asset mentioned above, the jobholder will:Be responsible for co-coordinating all activities to ensure that the project meets its obligations to SLPG to startup first time on time and on budget with an admiral HSE record, and to interface with the project management team to ensure that all areas of the project contribute to these goals.Business Processes related:Actively facilitate the transfer of learning and best practices across assets group and directorates in SLPG.Discipline Activities:Develop a motivated, competent FPD community and work force capable of fulfilling the requirements of the section, whilst fostering team building. Update and implement FPD Strategy so as to deliver visible improvements to the Design, Construction and Commissioning Start-up Phases.Develop the Project To Asset Handover process.Educate and Coach Project personnel on FPD and expectationsDevelop FPD KPIs and report out to Project Management monthly.Develop Project To Asset tracking tool.Coach Personnel on Project To Asset transfer.Own the FPD aspects of the OR&A Plan.Plan, Schedule & Organize FPD Events, e.g. Visits, Workshops, Meetings, Health Checks etc. & to ensure the relevant people are availableTo develop Q Captains and track implementation of their Assurance PlansEngage in the implementation of the HSE-MS within the Project.Ensure all compliance documentation is handed over to Operations.Participate in After Action Review so as to capture future project learnings.Focal point for CSU/ Operations Lessons Learned register.HSE related:Ensure that they fully comply with all SLPG & Project HSE requirements. Achieve Project Target of Zero LTI.Maintain a high level of safety awareness and standards in all daily duties and tasks and guide the subordinate staff on safe working practices.Proactively be involved with all HSE aspects of activity execution and compliance with directorate HSE planParticipate in all key equipment design, operability, and maintainability reviews (HAZOPs, IPFs, etc.).Support development of an ingrained Safety culture by contributing to the safety systems i.e. STOP.Promote health, safety and environmental awareness through inductions, training, inspection and promotions.Process safety related:Ensure that performance standards of Safety Critical Elements have been demonstrated during commissioning, along with appropriate witness points thus demonstrating Technical Integrity for Project To Asset transferOther accountabilities:Maintain a positive image and actively promote and participate in social activities.Encourage a sustainable development culture through education on conservation of energy, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions etc. and long term affects to the local communities. REQUIREMENTS: Experience/Qualifications/Competencies Needed:Engineering degree or HND/ HNC or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline.Minimum of 10-15 years experience in the Production Engineering discipline of which a significant portion has been spent in Projects, Production and Maintenance roles on Oil & Gas industry. Experienced Operations Professional, with secondary and preferably tertiary technical education (post high school level).A minimum of 10 years experience in Project / Facilities / Construction Engineering or Operations work.Good inter-personal, communications, influencing and presentation skills are essential.Team player. Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills with good communications skills (i.e. report writing and presentations) are essential.Working under pressure in challenging environment.Ability to successfully manage relationships with key stakeholders.Capable of rigorously implementing and enforcing global standards, procedures and HSE work processes.
