Job Description

Our client, a large holding company based in Oman, is looking for a Finance Manager to work in a private family office.Candidate Profile:A proficient finance professional with a high level of integrity, discretion, and honesty and who enjoys excellent analytical and administrative skills.? The candidate is expected to be a good communicator responsible for planning and managing all financial affairs of the family and the family office.

  • Manage the family balance sheets and accounts collectively and individually
  • Develop regular/periodic updated cash-flow reports, family income and expense statements as well as financial statements to family members individually as well as the family office as whole
  • Oversee and reconcile family expenses and accounts
  • Develop and prepare regular presentations and other documents as needed
  • Effectively manage cash-flows and creditors
  • Research, analysis, and advise of existing and potential investments into financial markets, real estate investments, and business opportunities, locally and globally
  • Develop and maintain professional relationshi
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Traits:
  • Bachelor?s in Finance or Accounting; MBA is preferred
  • ?Big 4? experience or equivalent (Investment Bank)
  • CPA/CFA qualification is also preferred
  • Finance and accounting experience in a family office is highly preferred
  • Strong inter-personal, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent command of the English Language
  • Total experience of 7+ years
  • Proficient in computers, IT systems, processes, and MS Office tools
  • Excellent command of MS Excel
  • Must have a perfectly clean record of impeccable ethics and integrity
  • Structured and Organized
  • Superior understanding and proficiency of fixed income and equity investments
  • Knowledge of all types of real estate investments and multiple market knowledge
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Out-going business-like personality
  • Experienced in cash-flow planning and management
  • Estate planning experience is preferred
