It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia?s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.The Nokia CNS Market Services team seeks an Experienced Software and Automation Architect that will be fully accountable for all aspects related to automation strategy, including setup and improve the process for CI/CD and Acceptance Test Driven Development Practices. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.What you will learn and contribute toThe CNS EUR LDO is seeking a Senior Software and Automation Architect to develop new Use Cases on the Nokia Converged Charging product (NCC). You will design, write and execute manual and automatic test cases as well as set up the infrastructure to improve the reliability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our services. You will be part of a scrum team responsible for developing and testing custom features and then merging/integrating features with the generally available NCC product.As part of our team, you will:

• Collaborate with the customer to elicit and align End to End Use Cases
• Collaborate with customer and CCoE Product Owners to define all level of automation test cases, to be included in our CI/CD to enable meaningful shift left principle and fast feedback
• Develop and implement a comprehensive test plan for different phases of our CI/CD Pipeline (Unit, System, Integration, Acceptance)
• Maintain and expand the existing automation test framework
• Design and implement new Automation Test Cases, to be included in our CI/CD
• Maintain reports and track verification of defects
• Analyze reported product defects and fix them as required.
• Integrate feedback from customers into product development.
• Create/Support/Maintain test design documentation (Solution Validation Strategy, Test Book etc)
• Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies
• Support process improvement initiatives to reduce product/solution technical debt
• Provide input and recommendations to high-level product architecture.
• Support delivery team during all project phases enabling continuous delivery practices and short feedback loop cycles
• Provide feature demo and customer training materials to equip customers on how to operate NCC with new custom features.

Your skills and experienceCandidates must have:

• Computer Science or Engineering Degree - Bachelor?s or Master?s degree (Telecom/Computers/IT) with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Software quality assurance experience in a distributed systems environment
• Experience with network debugging and troubleshooting tools
• Good hands-on with Linux OS-based systems
• Scripting skills Python, Bash
• Experience and knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with test automation framework, ideally Robot Framework
• Experience with Git, Gerrit or GitLab
• Good debugging skills on IDE like Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Charging concepts and development experience: LTE, 3GPP architecture, Real-time charging systems, 5G and IOT use cases
• Experience with Diameter/4G interfaces (mainly base protocol, Gy, Sy, and Ro interfaces)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTP2, HTTPS
• Experiences in VNF onboarding and orchestrations is a must
• Experiences with K8S and cloud-native application strong assets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ideal Candidates may also have:

• Knowledge of 5G interfaces (mainly NCHF - N40, N28)
• Prior work experience on SPS, SurePay, NOKIA 5780 DSC and/or any competitive Charging product
• DB experience ? preferably NoSQL based DB
• Knowledge of Maven, Ant or Gradle Scripts
• Experience with automation frameworks like Robot.
• Exposure to Microservices, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, and related areas.
