Candidates with further knowledge and proven experience in the areas of intelligent manufacturing systems, and Industry 4.0 may have an advantage. The applicant must be proficient in the required field. Applicants who do not meet the requirements will not be considered. The prospective faculty member will be assigned teaching undergraduate and graduate students, supervising final year projects, providing academic advising to students, initiating and cooperating in research in the field of expertise, and participating actively in the different committees at the Department, College and/or University level.Minimum Qualifications:All candidates must have an earned Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree by the date of appointment in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, System Engineering, or related field from an accredited university. The candidate must have earned his/her at least two degrees in Industrial Engineering and must have excellent academic credentials in this field with a good research and publication record is expected. Bachelor in IE will be given priority. Targeted Candidates should satisfy the followings: ·Any two-degree (BS, MS, Ph.D.) in IE. ·Excellent oral and written communication skills. ·Record of or potential for strong scholarly achievements in relevant fields. ·A commitment to teaching excellence and an ongoing, externally funded research program. ·Willingness to teach core undergraduate and graduate courses and offer electives in the particular area of specialty. ·Active in research in the area of specialty and the ability to attract funds and work in collaborative research teams. ·Willingness and preferably experience in participating in administrative academic duties. ·Preferably, having experience with accreditation tasks and particularly ABET accreditation.
