The applicant must be Omani. 2. The applicant must be of good conduct. 3. To have the following qualifications for appointment: * It must be issued on a regular basis, and not be in the system of affiliation, distance education, or blended education.* It must be equivalent by the competent authority in the Sultanate if it is issued by a non-Omani higher education institution. 4. Familiarity with the use of information technology well. 5. Priority is given to those who have experience in university teaching and scientific research.6 . Apply for one job only.7. When sorting applications, the terms, conditions, and procedures contained in the Executive Regulations of Sultan Qaboos University Law and the Regulations for Appointing Omanis to Academic Jobs at Sultan Qaboos University will be applied.Conditions for occupying the position of Assistant Professor and above:- Obtaining a bachelors degree.- Obtaining a doctorate qualification or its equivalent from a higher Educational Institution whose ranking is not lower than that of Sultan Qaboos University, or among the top three higher education institutions in the Sultanate, based on the (QS) or (THE) classification of universities in the year of graduation.- Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken, and the fulfillment of the minimum English language requirement according to the following: * (7.5) in the IELTS exam or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam if the specialization for which he is applying is English.* (6.5) in the IELTS exam, or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam if the specialization for which he is applying taught in English.* (5) In the IELTS exam or its equivalent in the TOEFL exam if the specialization for which he is applying taught in Arabic.* Exceptions are made from the provisions of this clause applicant for jobs in the specializations of Islamic education and the of the Arabic language specialization.Noting that the following documents should be attached (noting that any incomplete application will not be considered): -* Biography and experiences.* Copies of academic qualifications and transcripts (to be equivalent from the Ministry of Higher Education.)* A copy of the IELTS or TOEFL certificate.* Valid copies of ID and passport.* Photograph.The Department Conditions:* PhD or equivalent in Instructional and Learning Technology (Specific Specializations: Multimedia, e-Learning).* Priority is given to those who have PhD from a foreign University where the medium of instruction is English.* Has good record of publications in peer-reviewed international Journals in the field.* Has supervised a sufficient number of MAs and Ph.Ds.For more details refer to the Arabic version Requirements* Teaching. * Academic supervision for undergraduate students. * Advising MA students. * Participation in committees at the department / college / university and society * Contributing to the scholarly research activities and publication in international scientific journals (individual / collaborative).For more details refer to the Arabic version BenefitsRefer to the Arabic version
