Qualification: Diploma ? Civil EngineeringExperience: Approval with different clients such as PDO, Oxy, Daleel etc to work as Lab Technician.Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to the following:? Operating standard construction material laboratory testing equipment in line with Client specification.? Performing analysis or calculations to check accuracy of test data.? Accurately performing various construction material tests in accordance with applicable standards.? Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating equipment.? Able to read and understand QC documents like work procedures, ITP, QAP, Checklist, formats required for carrying out project specific activities and testing as per project specifications and codes of practice;? Coordinating with contractors for the field-testing, pre and post concrete inspection.? Collecting the samples of required type at specific points for testing.? Understand the apparatus to determine their physical and chemical properties.? Collecting water samples at specified points for analysis.? Maintaining the lab record of reading and field observations, for calculating and reference purposes.? Making sure that all health, safety and legal requirements are met throughout the process.
