We are currently looking for Site Civil Engineer for Muscat, Oman.Responsibilities- Supervision of infrastructure construction including earthworks, roads, wet and dry utilities.- Monitoring the quality of work against the contract specification and drawings.- Recording defects, and ensuring rectification is carried out in accordance with agreed procedures.- Maintaining records of work carried out, and ensuring plant and other resources are recorded accurately.- Supervision of the Works- Review shop drawings, method statements and material submissions.- Monitor the performance of the Contractors activities- Ensure health and safety of Atkins site staff.- Identify construction quality issues.- Monitor health and safety activities of the Contractor- Any other duties that may be required from time to time.SNC Lavalins Atkins business is one of the largest multidisciplinary, multi sector engineering design consultancies in the world and is part of the SNC Lavalin Group.As one of the worlds most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies with a leading track record in the defence sector, Atkins are ideally placed to respond to this market.
