Job Description

Employment: Full Time Primary Function:Responsibility and supervision of all operations in the chick room from sorting to loadingFull responsibility for providing the appropriate environmental conditions for chicks during the chicks processesGeneral Responsible for:Manage chick Handling to implement of all procedures to produce the highest quality and quantity of the chicks at the lowest cost.Ensure that all chicks room automation, equipment, HVAC systems and all other tools is used as per manufacturers recommendations for running and maintenanceEnsure that all biosecurity, hygiene, cleaning and disinfection systems has been followed as per approved proceduresEnsure that Preventive maintenance program for all machineries, Equipment and automation has been implemented by Maintenance in timeEnsure that all reports have been completed in time and submitted to Department managerEnsures that the quality and HACCP requirements has been following in all the processfollowing up weekly, monthly and quarterly production key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve Hatchery objectivesRegular collection of daily data to review, analyse and taking appropriate action with coordination with Department managerDeveloping & evaluating Vaccinators to maximize their productivityImplementing and following up the Training of all ladies to improve their qualificationChick room Responsible for:Ensure the chicks sorting has been done as per approved procedureEnsure that chicks vaccination Processes has been done as per approved procedureDirect supervision and full responsibility for vaccination processes either injection or spray and ensure that every chick had got the correct dose in correct placeFollowing up vaccination machines during work, ensure that all machines have correct pressure, dose and numberFollowing up vaccinators quality, speed and numbersEnsure That Storage and handling Of Vaccine done as per approved procedureCounting, Grading, weighing, and Holding of Day-Old Chicks as per Chicks handling procedureMonitor & record Temperature, RH% and Ventilation in all chicks areaEnsure that cleaning, disinfecting chick room, machines has been done as per the procedure every day after finishing workEnsure that the disposal of chick room waste has been done according to the procedures every dayEnsure That the chicks delivery truck environment is maintained as per procedure before chicks loading REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor/MBA in Animal Production or relatedAt least 7-10 Years Practical experience in commercial poultry hatcheryKey Skills:LeadershipTeamworkTime ManagementCommunication SkillsProblem solvingAnalytic Skills
