Job Description

Position: Business AnalystThe role requires the incumbent to seek, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. From researching progressive systems & solutions to evaluating their impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. This person should also be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape. Should be able to build models and prepare business cases for growth and deficienciesimprovement.Detailed

  • Drive projects that lead to productivity enhancement, cost efficiency, supply chain optimisationetc.
  • Performfinancial forecasting, modelling, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Recommend actions by analysingand interpreting data and making comparative analyses study proposed changes in methods and materials
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuations
  • Develop models and tools for forecasting, analysis, generating business insights and process improvements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
  • Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
  • Designing processes that maximiseefficiency and reduce waste.
  • Study and propose industrial automation proposals in consultation with the concerned managers
  • Prepare business cases for business growth and excellence initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience for manufacturing industry preferably for steel.
  • Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards
  • Working knowledge of analyticand machine learning models and tools
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail
Qualification & Experience
  • Engineer and/or Management Graduate
  • 5-10 Years of experience (more than 3 years of experience in analyticrole)
