Job Description

The appointee to this position will take responsibility for revenue growth through new business generation and maintaining a successful commercial relationship between MHD and its key distribution partner.Identifying and developing new sales channel, product applications and new customers.Develop retail business channel for ODN, Fiber products, Test and Measurement equipment, PMR, Satellite phones etc. Selling the active & passive products of Telecommunication systems or related technologies like mobile network equipment, wireline network equipment, fiber Optics cables, optical distribution network equipment, antennas, copper cables, testing equipment, consumables and other related products to various industries including Telecom Operators, Oil & Gas, Power, ports in Oman as specified by company.Introduce and develop new products inline with company?s existing portfolio.The individual will use his/her experience in business development and account management to drive revenue through selected key partners as well as generating business with several key end users.Required to initiate, devise, and make sales plans, budgets, monitor the business progress as per the target guidelines, ensure achieving sales target, gross margins targets in accordance with approved budgets.

  1. To identify MHD offered solution opportunities with assigned accounts, building strong value propositions, leveraging all advantages that MHD?s business partners have to offer.
  2. Responsible for selling products to assigned customers by developing relationships with key managers from different key accounts. Key account mapping including developing relationship with decision makers.
  3. Achieve Orders, Invoicing, Margins & Collections as per the Budget/KRA.
  4. Budgeting, forecasting, reporting & periodic review with HOD.
  5. Improvement of customer satisfaction through number of customer visits, market share per market segment, new customers / period etc.
  6. Prepare the most adapted offer along with/without pre-sales team to meet the needs of the customer in partnership with the technical support and principals.
  7. Generating leads, Preparation of RFP/Tender response, Queries & Bid closure.
  8. Ensuring that offers being made to customers are in accordance with Company?s policies on margins and profits.
  9. Must be able to articulate technology & product positioning to both business & technical users.
  10. Identifying new business opportunities, new products and brands for addition to existing business by developing new Technology Partners and Products/Solutions.
  11. Build sustainable relationships with Customers and Technology Partners.
  12. Developing proper database on market information & competitors.
  13. Should have contributed numbers to sales pipeline, budgeting and forecasting leading to achievement of sales targets.
  14. Understanding internal business process, regulations and documentary compliances of the company.
  15. Co-0rdination with warehouse, finance and procurement teams.
