Job Description

  1. As a leader of a multi-disciplinary project team, collaborate and influence Project activities to ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and progress objectives, find opportunities and mitigate risks, and proactively develop, communicate, and implement strategic action plans to correct deviations and/or realize value.
  2. Work closely with all stakeholders, to support decision-making processes and action plan development for critical opportunity framing and strategic planning related to key construction risks and value impediments, successful execution of construction activities, and continuing to build Partner support for project development.
  3. Manage the EPCM contractor and their sub-contractors to ensure they deliver on time and budget.
  4. Report project progress (budget, schedule, quality) milestones to the management.
  5. Plan projects (ex. Develop full-scale project work plans and proper documentation and records including the scope of work, schedule, budgetary requirements, etc.)
  6. Select or source personnel to achieve project outcomes.
  7. Track and control the project to deliver it within the approved scope, quality, budget, and schedule
  8. Provide construction and constructability lead to review engineering design drawings, and execution schedule and capital cost estimate deliverable.
  9. Lead a value engineering exercise to improve the value of the project and optimize cost without effecting the quality.
  10. Ensure the project comply with all applicable regulatory laws.
  11. Site targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
  12. Overseeing the logistical requirements of a project
  13. Lead the Owners team and direct resources effectively to deliver in their KPI.
  14. Lead client-managed construction activities that may occur outside of the main EPCM contract.
  15. Champion risk-based management of the project for the Owners team. Lead initiatives for hazard identification and risk reduction such as HAZOPs, risk assessments, and inspections. Involve all participants including the EPCM contractor and their sub-contractors.
  16. Ensure that all HSE requirements are fully understood and complied with.
  17. Lead the HSE standards on-site during construction and commissioning and ensure that everyone understands and follows.
