Continuously review the company?s commercial policies to ensure they align with company objectives,Establish close working relationships with major customers to ensure the renewal of existing business and the generation of new business.Lead and support the securing and delivery of major contracts.Investigate export opportunities including Construction Accessories cross selling; intercompany CRH; third party distribution channels and other routes to market as appropriate.Analyse prevailing and future market conditions to enable the company to maintain its competitive positionDrive Commercial Excellence throughout the business using performance data as appropriate to ensure expected results are delivered and margin is maximized.Work with the senior management team across the organisation to ensure strategies are supported and embedded in the business with particular focus on safety, cost, profitability, quality, customer service and price management.Coach and performance manage all direct reports and the wider commercial function to drive a high performance culture through the teams.
